Source Radio, as a society is volunteer-run and as such 'Freshers week' is a very important time to recruit new voluntary members. I organised a week-long outside broadcast co-inciding with the various 'Freshers' events going on that week. We broadcast live on the internet and provided music, entertainment, prizes and fun to the new students. Since then we have performed many other outside broadcasts including live coverage of the University's Varsity day sports competitions.
